Stila “In the Garden” Palette; Review and Tutorial
- Shades that all harmonise
- Addition of an eyeliner
- All shimmery (could be a negative in some people’s books)
- Cheap flimsy packaging for an expensive palette
- Not a versatile colour range
- Not super pigmented
1) After priming my eyelids with the Mac painterly pro longwear paint pot, I set this with “chinois”, a flesh coloured shadow
2) Next I took “breeze” all over the lid and softened the edges by blending them
3) Then I took “juniper” in my outer v blending into my crease and socket
4) After that I applied “bark” focusing on the centre of my lid
5) Next I took “honey” on the inner lid and blended the whole look to make it seamless
6) As usual I applied a winged liner with my Maybelline master preciser liquid eyeliner followed by two coats of Benefit’s roller lash mascara
7) Furthermore, I took “juniper” on the outer part of the lash line, followed by a mixture of “honey” and “bark” in the centre then lastly I took “breeze” in the inner part of the lower lash line.
8) Next I took the liner “starfish” from the palette on the outer lash line and outer water line followed by a Rimmel white eyeliner on the inner waterline (couldn’t find it online so linked something similar).
9) Finally I applied “chinois” in the inner corner and under the brow bone as a subtle highlight

Hope you enjoyed this post, I’ll see you on Monday with my February favourites, in the meantime have a read of my January favourites if you haven’t already!

Try On Haul; Next and H&M
In Next I picked up these grey fur mule slippers as my Primark ones were looking a bit worse for wear. These were £10 whilst the Primark ones are £4 and aside from being much better quality I think the price difference will be made up by how long they will hopefully last. All I own are black socks so I decided I wanted some more colourful pairs, this set is insect themed and very suiting to the upcoming season of spring. My old water bottle was simply just a plastic bottle so I decided I wanted a nice one and when I saw this is H&M I chuckled to myself so I knew I had to get it! It says “Eat Sleep Squat Repeat” and aside from being funny it will motivate me to plan a work out whenever I’m drinking. You know them very clever products at the till that aren’t life or death products but in a fluster you pick up as you “need” it in your life and it’s cheap… To be fair this hair fluff catcher (?) is very practical and I use it on my new black jeans, sorry jeggings, as they gather dust like there’s no tomorrow.
