Hi guys, today’s post is my February favourites, I think favourites blogposts are my best-loved to read and to write!
For some bizarre reason, all my favourites this month are makeup, I have no idea why I don’t have favourites from other categories if I’m honest. When planning this post, I couldn’t think of any new products aside from makeup that were worthy of my favourites or that hadn’t already featured in previous months.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette – I adore everything about this palette from the packaging to the colours. As same as all the other palettes, the pigmentation and blendability is second to none. I think this may be my favourite naked palette there is which is a massive statement for me to make as I’m in love with all four of them.
Real Techniques Bold Metals 201 Pointed Crease Brush – I have had this brush in my collection since August and I’ve never really thought of it as anything special… Until I discovered how amazing it is at applying eyeshadow into the outer v. It’s perfect for the job as it is dense so you get it exactly where you want it.
L’Oreal Paris Indefectible Foundation –  This foundation has been my go-to foundation pretty much all month for its great coverage and matte but not drying finish. I picked this up in a beauty outlet and discovered when I got home that all the information was written in a foreign language. This explains why I can’t find this foundation online to link up, but when this runs out, I am eager to try other L’Oreal foundations that may be comparable.
Mac Soar and Spice Lip Pencil – I couldn’t choose which of these lipliners was my favourite so I had to include them both! These were a treat to myself earlier in the month which you would know if you follow my Instagram. They are pigmented, creamy and long lasting – everything a good lipliner should be.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – After my “Top 5 Benefit Products” blogpost where I rediscovered my love for roller lash, I have been reaching for it frequently. Paired over false lashes this is perfect as it doesn’t clump up like many other mascaras do.
Revlon Define D03 False Lashes – False lashes have never been my scene but recently I have been feeling like my eyes haven’t looked finished when I’m wearing a heavier eye makeup look. Whilst browsing on Fragrance Direct I saw that the Revlon lashes were reduced to 75p so naturally I bought five pairs! These are my favourite of the lashes so far as they add volume and length without it being too obvious that you’re wearing them.
Makeup Revolution Hot Spice Ultra Blush Palette – Now that I have re-arranged my palette storage to make it more accessible, I have found myself reaching for this palette nearly every day I wear makeup. This palette has a shade to go with any look and they have great colour payoff.
Nars Copacabana Illuminator – I honestly don’t know why I haven’t used this highlighter in months as it’s incredibly iridescent and pretty. Used as a base with The Balm Mary-Lou on top it is a show-stopper! It blends into the skin beautifully and doesn’t cake up or go patchy.
I hope February was a good month for you all, I would just like to say how gob-smacked I am at how quickly my blog following has increased recently, I’m going to be hosting a giveaway when I reach 100 subscribers via bloglovin so keep your eye out for that!
What has been your top beauty favourite of the month or have we had any in common?

Hi guys, today’s blogpost is going to be a review of Stila’s “In the Garden” eyeshadow palette accompanied by a tutorial on this eye look I have created.
  • Shades that all harmonise
  • Addition of an eyeliner
  • All shimmery (could be a negative in some people’s books)
  • Cheap flimsy packaging for an expensive palette
  • Not a versatile colour range
  • Not super pigmented
Overall I really like this palette, however, I don’t think I would have paid the full price of £25. I picked this up in TX Max for around the £7/£8 region which I think is an absolute bargain! The green colours really compliment my green eyes but I do think the royal blue and purple look slightly out of place in this palette no matter how pretty they are. They aren’t very pigmented compared to the likes of the naked palettes but they do blend really easily which is a sacrifice I’m willing to make as you can definitely build the colour up.

1) After priming my eyelids with the Mac painterly pro longwear paint pot, I set this with “chinois”, a flesh coloured shadow

2) Next I took “breeze” all over the lid and softened the edges by blending them

3) Then I took “juniper” in my outer v blending into my crease and socket

4) After that I applied “bark” focusing on the centre of my lid

5) Next I took “honey” on the inner lid and blended the whole look to make it seamless

6) As usual I applied a winged liner with my Maybelline master preciser liquid eyeliner followed by two coats of Benefit’s roller lash mascara

7) Furthermore, I took “juniper” on the outer part of the lash line, followed by a mixture of “honey” and “bark” in the centre then lastly I took “breeze” in the inner part of the lower lash line.

8) Next I took the liner “starfish” from the palette on the outer lash line and outer water line followed by a Rimmel white eyeliner on the inner waterline (couldn’t find it online so linked something similar).

9) Finally I applied “chinois” in the inner corner and under the brow bone as a subtle highlight

Hope you enjoyed this post, I’ll see you on Monday with my February favourites, in the meantime have a read of my January favourites if you haven’t already!

Do you own any Stila products which you would recommend?

Hi guys, today I have one of my favourite ever blogposts to read and to write, a haul! I recently picked up some lovely items in Next and H&M which I can’t wait to share with you.
From Next I bought three pairs of jeans, or did I? Two of these “jeans” are in fact jeggings but I don’t think even a jean connoisseur could tell the difference! I bought two pairs of the jeggings in black and a dark blue. These were an upgrade from my old leggings as they had gone bobbly between the legs (muscly thighed girls you hear me). These jeggings look exactly like jeans with the tradition zip and button, but oh my, are they so much softer and comfortable to wear. The other jeans are actually jeans, I promise, but you wouldn’t think so either by how easy to wear they are. Again, these boyfriend jeans are very soft and fit me perfectly which is a surprise as I can try on hundreds of pairs yet they never seem to fit me right. One of my biggest problems with jeans, well trousers in general, is they are never long enough. I picked up all of these in a size 12 long and surprisingly they fit me like a glove! For Next, these were very reasonably priced and the quality is impeccable as usual.

Compared to the Next part of the haul which was planned and essential this was more of a spontaneous spree. Saying that, I had been lusting over biker leather jackets as Sophie Foster frequently rocks them so I wanted to give one a shot. This leather biker jacket was £30, yes you heard me correct, £30!! For a leather jacket that is very reasonable and it doesn’t look or feel tacky like you would expect for a price that low. It looks amazing over one of my other purchases.. this gorgeous dark blue and orange floral A line dress. On the hanger I thought this wouldn’t suit my figure as I tend to suit more tailored clothing but I thought what the hell I’ll try it on. It sits beautifully on and I will definitely be getting lots of wear out of it as it’s so comfortable. As a combination I love them together and my Mum’s partner say I look like a rock chick so I’m gonna wear it to death if there’s a chance I look remotely “cool”.  The last item of clothing that I purchased is a black suede A line skirt which is very similar to a camel coloured suede A line skirt I own from Newlook that I adore. Black is a very wearable colour so I know I will wear this to death. It synchs me in at the waist which I find very flattering and the style suits me so much more than say a mini skirt or pencil skirt.

In Next I picked up these grey fur mule slippers as my Primark ones were looking a bit worse for wear. These were £10 whilst the Primark ones are £4 and aside from being much better quality I think the price difference will be made up by how long they will hopefully last. All I own are black socks so I decided I wanted some more colourful pairs, this set is insect themed and very suiting to the upcoming season of spring. My old water bottle was simply just a plastic bottle so I decided I wanted a nice one and when I saw this is H&M I chuckled to myself so I knew I had to get it! It says “Eat Sleep Squat Repeat” and aside from being funny it will motivate me to plan a work out whenever I’m drinking. You know them very clever products at the till that aren’t life or death products but in a fluster you pick up as you “need” it in your life and it’s cheap… To be fair this hair fluff catcher (?) is very practical and I use it on my new black jeans, sorry jeggings, as they gather dust like there’s no tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I personally prefer try on hauls as you can see how clothing fits so shopping online is made easier!

Hi guys, today’s post is a collab with the gorgeous Alice from the blog Dainty Alice. We decided to share our top 5 Benefit products with you as we’re both massive fans of their brand!
1) Porefessional Face Primer – I spoke about this product is great detail over in my January favourites so give that a read if you’re interested. Overall I love this product, it adds hours to my makeup lasting power and blurs out your imperfections. I’m eager to try out new products from their extended porefessional range like the matte rescue and agent zero shine
2) Hoola Matte Bronzer – Again, I spoke about this product in my January favourites, so check that out if you want a more in-depth review. Hoola gives you the natural bronzed goddess appearance whilst also pairing up perfectly as a contour if you’re in a hurry and want to combine the two.
3) Hello Flawless! Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation – This foundation is a light to medium coverage and sits somewhere between a dewy and matte finish. It definitely makes your skin look flawless and on top on the porefessional it glides on like a dream.
4) Speed Brow Tinted Brow Gel – Brow gels are my lifesaver as my eyebrows seem to love to play during the day, but I’ve never found one that does the job, yet doesn’t leave my brows feeling crispy. Speed brow has the perfect amount of tint with the right consistency to hold your brows in place all day. An all round great product, not much else to say really apart from I love it!
5) Roller Lash Curling Mascara – Until planning this post, I hadn’t picked roller lash up out of my makeup draw for a few months. I swore by the Too Faced better than sex mascara, I still love it for its false lash effect but with a more subtle eye makeup look I have been straying back to roller lash. The wand scoops up your lashes perfectly and coats them evenly without leaving clumps on the end. Paired with curled lashes, it is a killer combo for long, fluttery lashes.

Hope you enjoyed this post, collabs are one of my favourite ever blogposts to create. Hi guys! Today’s blogpost is an overview of my favourite quotes that I like to remind myself of when I feel like I need a bit of motivation or inspiration.

“If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely” – Roahl Dahl

“You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain”

“Maybe it’s not about the happy ending, maybe it’s about the story”

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light” – Albus Dumbledore

“Being yourself is the prettiest thing you can be”
This post was short and sweet but I throughly enjoyed writing it. I find quotes extremely inspiring and they can often turn my day from good to bad. If your day isn’t going so great, I hope this post cheered you up even just a little bit.
What’s your favourite quote to cheer you up on a down day?
