L’Occitane En Provence; Ultra Mattifying Toner Review

I bought this product around August time this year as a new addition to my skincare routine as I was going through a really bad breakout due to all the suncreams from holiday and honestly, a bit of neglect on my behalf. I decided to buy a rather high end product, well, expensive for me as a student anyway! This product deducted my bank account of £17, I think compared to high street brands that I know work well, I took quite a gamble going for a product from a range I’ve never used. Living life on the edge, still haven’t decided whether I like it or not! I’m sitting on the fence if I’m glad or not that I bought this product, I’ve had my ups and downs with my skin over the past couple of months and I’m not sure where this product stands with my skin. This product has a wonderful lemon scent which I think is a reviving smell on your skin in the morning to wake you up. I use this product twice a day, I dampen a cotton pad and put a few drops of the toner on and rub it all over my face going over any spots last to try and prevent spreading bacteria. When I purchased this product I was told that it is best to use within 6 months and it lasts about 6 months. I’ve had this product 3 months and I’m about half way through leading me to believe that this product will last me the 6 months. This product claims to give you matte, shine free and purified skin, I think it ticks all these boxes. I have noticed a massive difference in the shininess of my skin, the fact that it hasn’t go an oily appearance has really affected my self confidence as I was very aware of my skin looking sweaty because it is naturally shiny. I think this is a great product but I think there could be a cheaper, just as good alternative on the market as it wasn’t a miracle worker. Now I’ve just got to find it!
